The Creative Director and Founders:
Haya Khan is the creative director of Haya Suleman Couture and She is the person behind the innovation and fashion that emerges from Haya Suleman Couture. Haya Afridi has built her career in fashion after graduating from PIFD (Pakistan Institute of Fashion and Design) with her unique brand philosophy and concept idea for the fashion business. Haya Afridi established her handle accompanied by her partner Suleman in February 2020 in Islamabad. They, together, set a concept for an indo-western look with a touch of modernity and modesty featuring cultural heritage and chic looks. Haya had been working with international clients for 8 years, before starting her brand, where she helped many start-ups to grow and launch their unique collections based on their brand ideas. The young sensation has always been after the ethnic style with an indo-western silhouette and minimal embellishment.
Haya Suleman offers a collection of everyday chic to bridal ensembles that feature lightweight, high-end fabric with embroidery techniques inspired by cultural heritage. The collections are based on high-tailored, fusional, ethnic, and Western styles perfect for all occasions.
In her own words:
“I am a woman with ambitions. Having a high rank in the fashion industry is indeed one of my goals, but supporting my fellow people and building a strong employment circle always comes first. We, Haya and Suleman, believe that fashion should revolve around family values and Pakistani tradition but with a new taste and new sense of style which is brought up by Haya Suleman Couture in this industry. In the market, we usually find either too Western or too Eastern fashion and we believe as the time is changing and world is getting its latest shape in fashion, people start to have different fashion tastes and they want something ethnic and chic!
